I'm André. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and its Applications and an MSc in Mathematics — my final project was in probability and statistics — and I've taught privately for over ten years. I founded Noktua Academy because most tuition treats the symptom, this week's topic, and never the gap underneath it.
Every tutor here works to that method, and I built the practice platform your child uses between lessons, so the teaching and the practice are two halves of one plan rather than two products.

Questions parents ask
What happens in the free diagnostic?
Thirty minutes on a video call. Your tutor works through a few problems with your child to find where the understanding actually stops — usually a year or two below the topic causing trouble. You get a written plan afterwards whether or not you book anything.
Is the practice platform really free?
Yes. Creating an account costs nothing and unlocks the whole platform — every skill, every practice mode, no time limit and no card required. Paid packs buy live one-to-one or small-group lessons with a tutor; the platform is not a paid add-on to them.
How do online sessions work?
We use a video call plus a shared digital whiteboard. At the end of a session the board is saved and emailed out as a PDF — to the student, and to a parent or guardian if an address is on file.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel or reschedule an individual class from your dashboard up to 24 hours before it starts and the session credit goes straight back to your account. Within 24 hours, or a missed class, the credit is not returned automatically — contact us and we will help where we can. Money refunds are handled case by case; see our Refund Policy.
Do you provide study materials?
Yes. Exercises and summary notes are written for each student, and the practice platform generates unlimited questions on any skill. Exam-prep packages also include a structured study plan.
